By providing intervention strategies for certain period, the Individual learning monitoring plan
serves as the document that will show if the learner has shown progress. From the ILMP
above, my pupil showed insignificant progress during the first quarter. But because of the
different interventions I made, this particular pupil showed significant progress from the rest of
the quarter.

Weekly Home Learning Plan

Explicit Lesson Planning

ANNOTATION
The Weekly Home Learning Plan is essential to the process of teaching and learning in new modality
since it serves as a blueprint a concrete plan to guide the learners, parents, and learning facilitators
on what subject, objective and activities should the learner do and accomplish.
During my classroom evaluation, I utilize a semi-detailed lesson plan. In this, I made sure that
integrations are available. It should also have contextualization for my pupils to relate the lesson to
be discussed. It is important also to choose activities that are more doable for them especially in this
distance learning. In the plan, interactions with the pupils is vital. This will let them express how
they coup with situations they are experiencing due to the pandemic.

ANNOTATION
Clear objectives and criteria help pupils focus on the important skills and not get distracted from the
overarching objective. Alignment between activities and assessments helps minimize wasted time as
pupils can focus on skills geared towards the learning objectives.
As shown in my lesson plans above, assessments must be congruent to the learning objectives. It
must be aligned, and the domains of learning must be considered too.

ANNOTATION
Formative assessment at a distance is challenging but possible, and we still need to check for
understanding and provide meaningful feedback. Whether we use synchronous or asynchronous
online sessions, whether we call it distance or virtual learning, we’re all challenged to provide
meaningful education experiences at a distance as the education world grapples of COVID-19.
In my class, I have group chat where I can give instructions to my pupils. I have contacts to all my
parents in case they have queries. I also do asynchronous online sessions to those who can access. I
also find time to visit my pupils at home.

To provide pupils with stronger learning experiences I provide supplemental materials. I have self-
made worksheets, summative tests, and different exercises which my pupils can utilize and help
them have depth understanding on the lesson. These materials make my pupils to be more engage in
their learning. I made sure that all the materials I made is easy, concise and relatable for them so it
will not be hard to understand.

ANNOTATION
Due to the pandemic, face-to-face classes was made not possible. Different learning modalities are
provided to make education continue. I made video lessons for my pupils. Though not all my pupils
can access it, but these are helpful to them to get engaged in their lessons. All my video lesson were
sent in our group chat. I always encourage my pupils to ask questions and express their learning base
on the videos they have watch. I find it useful because I see that my pupils are more motivated to
learn especially when all of them are interaction even without face-to-face.

ANNOTATION
It is the goal of the Department of Education that every teacher will become not only efficient but
also effective. It is in this mission that today, a lot of trainings and seminars are being conducted to
improve and develop the craft of each mentor in school. The Department fully understand that
everything rises and falls on the teacher's capability to bring learning at the heart of every pupil.
These are the different certificates I gained from the seminars I attended for this school year. All the
trainings were very useful especially on this new normal. It give me more insights on how I can
manage my class on the distance learning.

In the wake of COVID-19, educators are facing unprecedented challenges,

including the disruption of established instructional programs and routines, the rapid
transition from in-person teaching to remote learning, the emotional toll of isolation
due to social distancing efforts, and uncertainty about personal safety and health. The
COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly disrupted our education system, changing what
classrooms and learning look like on a day-to-day basis. Educators are navigating a
constantly shifting landscape, with the health of students, teachers, and the
community at large at stake. All these challenges doesn’t hinder all teachers to do
their job. We all embrace the shift and continue to make efforts for our learners. Yes,
we find it hard at first, but because we worked hand in hand everything was made
possible.
This pandemic made me realize that no matter what happen in our education
sector, education must not stop. Learning must continue. When schools close,
children stop learning. This could do more harm than good. Children tend to lose their
habit of learning without the external stimuli from the routines of school. Many
assumptions have been raised as to the possibilities of challenges and difficulties in
the adoption of the learning modalities, such as lack of engagement and lack of a
sense of connection with students besides taking into consideration the proximity in
the delivery of printed materials and that of internet accessibility and connectivity.
It is the noble right of every Filipino to access quality education amid the crisis our
country and other nations are confronted with, and so education among Filipino
learners must continue while ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all learners,
teachers and personnel of the education department.

ANNOTATION
I emphasized in my reflection that I am willing to accept all the challenges I encounter. As a teacher
it is my responsibility to provide learning to my learner's despite of the shortcomings because
education is the only way to reach success.

ANNOTATION
Student progress monitoring is a practice that helps teachers use student performance data to
continually evaluate the effectiveness of their teaching and make more informed instructional
decisions. To implement student progress monitoring, the teacher determines a student's current
performance level on skills that the student will be learning that school year, identifies
achievement goals that the student needs to reach by the end of the year, and establishes the rate of
progress the student must make to meet those goals. During this time, I monitor my learners
through the different communication platforms that are available and accessible for my learners.

STRAND

ANNOTATION
Effective feedback is designed to determine a learner's level of understanding and skill
development in order to plan the next steps towards achieving the learning intentions or goals. In
our school parent consultation was made possible still following health protocols for the safety of
everybody. This is done particularly to those parents whose child needs more help in his/her
studies. During this time, we see to it that we provide parents’ needs to assists his/her child at
home. We address different circumstances by talking to the parents and give them options that
are more advantage because they are the one who are more hands-on to their child.

ANNOTATION
Our colleagues can be a great source of support throughout our teaching career,
especially in our first few years.  Developing positive and professional relationships with
our colleagues is critical in surviving and thriving teaching career.  In our school we
always instill camaraderie within oneself. Working with unity is vital on achieving goals for
the welfare of the school and for learners. With the different activities in school, these
bind us together and keep us one. It is important to always bring unity in school through
constant cooperation and participation in all endeavors we face.

ANNOTATION
Communicating learners’ needs, progress and achievement to their parents is one of many strategies
to connect with them. This is important because it makes it easier for the parents to learn how their
child perform in school. During this time, I really made use all the available means of
communication since face-to-face conferences for parents is not adaptable. Communicating with
parents help them to become aware the needs, progress and improvements of their child during this
modular learning modality. Keeping track learners with their learning will always be significant
especially this new normal in education.

ANNOTATION
When parents are engaged in their children’s school lives, students have the home support and
knowledge they need to not only finish their assignments, but also develop a lifelong love of
learning. Teachers who focus on parent engagement often see a profound change in learners’
learning. The more parents involved in their children’s education, the better their entire class’s
motivation, behavior, and grades become. In our school, despite of the pandemic we made sure that
parents are always involve. The school still implements Portfolio Day when parents come to school
to witness their child’s outputs, card distribution and limited parents' consultation. Health protocols
were observed during this activities.
