Semi-Detailed Lesson Plan in Mathematics 1

I. Objective

At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:


 Identify the Eight basic shape.
 Recognize the Eight basic shape.
 Actively collaborate to group activity.

II. Subject Matter

B. Learning Activities

A. Activity

Play missing shapes


 The teacher will divide the class into two groups. Each
group representative will spread the shapes out on the
floor and gather all group member.
 The teacher will tell everyone to close their eyes and take away one
shape and say open your eyes .
 Everyone must guess which shape is missing.
B. Analysis

a. With the shapes still spread out on the floor.


b. The teacher will say hands up in the air. Once all hands up
say touch the green square. And have everyone a quick
touch to green square.
c. The teacher do this for all the shapes.

C. Abstraction

a. The teacher will show Mr. Shape head.


b. The teacher will introduce the eight different shapes .
c. The teacher will discuss the importance and difference of
each shape.
D. Application
a. The teacher will group the class into two groups.

 Group 1: Draw an object or things that like a circle shape.


 Group 2: Draw a house using shapes.
E. Generalization
 The teacher will ask the student to close their eyes and
imagine . What happen if there no shape around them?
