Procedure:
 Give the learners with number puzzle cutouts.

 They will glue the puzzle on a bond paper.
 Afterwards, ask the learners to name the number and spell it.

Procedure:
1. Learners will fill up the volcano by pasting bits of papers.

Transition to Meeting The teacher reminds the learners about the time left in Work Period
Time 2 Time 1 around 15 minutes before Meeting Time 2. After 10 minutes, the
teacher tells the learners to start packing away the materials they used
and be ready for Meeting Time 2. A transition song or a countdown
may be used.
Questions/Activity Let the learners present their work. Afterwards, encourage them to sing
the song “Rain, rain go away...”

Materials: popsicle number cards


Procedure:
 Set up the popsicle number cards on the table.
 Ask the learners to match the cutouts to their corresponding
number by putting them together.
 Ask the learners to count the dots and tell the corresponding
number.
 Repeat the activity until they finish matching all the popsicle
cutouts.

Materials: colored cardboards, beads, pipe cleaner or wire wrap on


paper, scissor

Procedure:
 First you should draw umbrella shapes and cut them away. You
can make the handles of the umbrellas with pipe cleaners.
 Then write the numbers down on the umbrellas one by one.
 Put the beads in a box.
 Now it is ready. Let your child pass the beads through the pipe
cleaners as many as the numbers on the umbrellas.

GROUP 3: Snake Dots Counting

Materials: colored cardboards, glue, googly eyes, scissors

Procedure:
 Firstly, draw snake shapes on the different colored cardboards as
many numbers as you want to teach to your child.
 Secondly, cut those shapes away. You can make eyes for the
snakes or paste googly eyes instead. 
 Then write the numbers down and draw circles on the snakes and
as in the picture.
 Lastly, you should draw circles on the cardboards, but you should
use the same colors with same numbers to make it easier to match
them.
 Now it is ready! Your learner will choose one of the snakes and
put as many circles as it is written on the snake. This is a great
way to teach numbers to children!
GROUP 4: Pizza Counting Activity

just use a red marker), 2 white paper plates, black marker, scissors

Procedure:
 Ask the learners to match the pizza cutouts by placing on top of
their corresponding numbers.

GROUP 5: Counters Counting

Materials: disposable cups with number label, counters

Procedure:
 Ask the learners to place counters inside the disposable cups
according to its corresponding number.

 Tell that the quantity of a set of objects does not change even though
the arrangement has changed.

Transition to Indoor The teacher reminds the learners about the time left in Work Period

Materials: hopscotch board on the ground

Procedure:
 Draw the hopscotch board on the ground. Create a set of vertical
squares numbered 1 through 10. Numbers 4 & 5 and 7 & 8 are
often placed side-by-side.
 To begin a hopscotch game, toss a stone or flat object into the
inside of the 1 square. If the learner’s stone touches the sides of the
square, they lose their turn.
 The goal of hopscotch is to hop through the inside of each square
on one foot. If they lose their balance or touch any of the square’s
sides, they lose their turn.
 After the learners successfully hopped across the board, they will
turn around (remaining on one foot) and hop back to the
beginning, picking up the stone along the way.
