SUBJECT: Restaurant Proposal

As you are aware, I am in the process of completing The Restaurant Entrepreneur simulation. In
order to continue with this simulation, I am required to first establish the name and location of
my restaurant. Please review the proposed restaurant provided below and indicate if I have
your approval to use the proposed idea by completing the bottom portion of this memo and
returning it to me.

Proposed Restaurant
The name of my restaurant is Papa’s Flame Fired Pizza. The theme for my restaurant is to give
my customers the feeling of homestyle cooking in a warm, authentic Italian environment. The
color scheme that I have decided to use is a combination of red, white, green, and brown. The
signature dish at my restaurant is Papa’s Signature Pizza. The restaurant will be located in
Pittsburgh, PA.

Restaurant Reasoning
My favorite food has been pizza for the longest time. I want to capture the same feelings that I
feel from eating pizza into a restaurant. The brick ovens will make the pizza much more fun and
enjoyable for all ages. Having the authentic Italian look and feel really makes the experience
beautiful. I will proudly serve pastas, pizzas, calzones, and other Italian must haves. I will even
have homemade dough.
