SUBJECT: Restaurant Proposal 
 
As you are aware, I am in the process of completing The Restaurant Entrepreneur simulation. In 
order to continue with this simulation, I am required to first establish the name and location of 
my restaurant. Please review the proposed restaurant provided below and indicate if I have 
your approval to use the proposed idea by completing the bottom portion of this memo and 
returning it to me. 
 
Proposed Restaurant: 
The name of my restaurant is A Pittsburgh Twist. The theme for my restaurant is Pittsburgh and 
modern. Every dish would have a Pittsburgh twist on it, to make people feel like they are in 
Pittsburgh. My signature dish would be the Late Night Crunch, an ice cream sandwich with 
warm brownies and chocolate crunch ice cream. My restaurant would be located at 670 
Washington Rd, Mt Lebanon, Pittsburgh PA 15228.  
 
Restaurant Reasoning: 
Over the summer I made ice cream sandwiches and lemonade to raise money for our park 
bridge. We sold the ice cream sandwiches and lemonade at a 4th of July event in Caste Village. 
We ended up raising $120 from this event. I learned how to make ice cream and sell products. 
This was a fun and great experience!
