SUBJECT: Restaurant Proposal

As you are aware, I am in the process of completing The Restaurant Entrepreneur simulation. In
order to continue with this simulation, I am first required to establish the name and location of
my restaurant. Please review the proposed restaurant provided below and indicate if I have your
approval to use the proposed idea by completing the bottom portion of this memo and returning
it to me.

Proposed Restaurant:
The name of my restaurant is LN’s Tipped Teapot. The theme of my restaurant is to give
customers a fantasy tea and cakes experience. The color scheme I have decided on is a
mixture of pastels and light browns. My signature dishes will be dandelion root tea and lemon
tarts. The restaurant will be located in Elizabeth, PA.

Restaurant Reasoning:
I have always loved the concept of little tea shops. Whenever I thought of one the fantasy pastel
part of my brain would take over. Baking and kinds of tea have also always been interesting to
me, so why not combine them into a shop of my own?
