SUBJECT: Restaurant Proposal

As you are aware, I am in the process of completing The Restaurant Entrepreneur simulation.
In order to continue with this simulation, I am required to first establish the name and location
of my restaurant. Please review the proposed restaurant provided below and indicate if I
have your approval to use the proposed idea by completing the bottom portion of this memo
and returning it to me.

Proposed Restaurant:
The name of my restaurant is Up ‘N Ready. The theme for my restaurant is to give my customers
a relaxing venue to eat their breakfast. The color scheme that I have decided to use is a
combination of white, tan, and light orange. The signature dish at my restaurant is the Classic
Starter. The restaurant will be located in North Brentwood, Maryland.

Restaurant Reasoning:
Ever since I was a young kid, my family has always said I made the best breakfast. With
their encouragement and my Great Aunt Emma’s lessons, I have become better at
cooking. As my Aunt Emma always said, “Up ‘N Ready in the Kitchen.”
