Subject: restaurant proposal

As you are aware, I am in the process of completing The Restaurant Entrepreneur simulation. In
order to continue with this simulation, I am required to first establish the name and location of
my restaurant. Please review the proposed restaurant provided below and indicate if I have your
approval to use the proposed idea by completing the bottom portion of this memo and returning
it to me.

Proposed restaurant:
The name of my restaurant is “The Flamin’ Bull”. The theme of my restaurant is sports. The
sports theme will be expressed by sports gear hanging on the walls. My color theme is going to
be red, yellow, orange, and brown. My signature dish will be the steak, but we will be known for
our meat variety. We hope to be located across the country, but we will start in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania.

Restaurant Reasoning:
As a kid, meat was always my favorite dinner meal. I’ve been to restaurants and have thought
about creating a restaurant with the most seasoned and juicy meat. My brother would grill in the
summer and my image of the perfect meat would come to life.
