SUBJECT: Restaurant Proposal

As you are aware, I am in the process of completing The Restaurant Entrepreneur simulation. In
order to continue with this simulation, I am required to first establish the name and location of
my restaurant. Please review the proposed restaurant provided below and indicate if I have your
approval to use the proposed idea by completing the bottom portion of this memo and returning
it to me.

Proposed Restaurant:
The name of my restaurant is Woody’s Steakhouse. The theme of my restaurant is a
steakhouse with a woody nature theme. menus with classic, yet simple styles, no fancy names
either. The color scheme I chose to use was a blackish-brown color scheme since the
restaurant is based off of trees and nature. The signature dish of my restaurant is Woody’s
smoked steak. The restaurant is located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Restaurant Reasoning:
Ever since I was extremely young, my mom would always either cook me steak or take me out
to steak places. When I watched my mom cook, I also wanted to cook steak like her so I could
cook steak for myself too. Sometimes, my mom would take me to the Texas Roadhouse, where
it had wood chairs and when I saw it, for whatever reason I got captivated by it, that’s how
Woody’s Steakhouse was chosen as the restaurant name.
