Người tiêu dùng là những nguời mua sắm hàng hóa cho tiêu dùng cá
nhân, gia đình hay một nhóm nguời, để thoả mãn nhu cầu hay mong
muốn nào đó.
Đặc điểm:
• Qui mô lớn không ngừng gia tăng về số lượng và chất lượng
• Khách hàng rất đa dạng và phong phú về nhu cầu

Upper Class - Upper Uppers (1%)
- The social elite who live on inherited
wealth.
- They give large sums to charity, own more
than one home, and send their children to
the finest schools.

Upper Class - Lower Uppers (2%)
- Americans who have earned high income
or wealth through exceptional ability.
- They are active in social and civic affairs
and buy expensive homes, educations, and
cars.

- Professionals, independent businesspersons, and
corporate managers who possess neither family
status nor unusual wealth.
- They believe in education, are joiners and highly
civic minded, and want the “better things in life.”

Middle Class - Middle Class (32%)
- Average-pay white- and blue-collar workers who
live on “the better side of town.”
- They buy popular products to keep up with
trends.
- Better living means owning a nice home in a nice
neighborhood with good schools.

Working Class - Working Class (38%)
- Those who lead a “working-class lifestyle,”
whatever their income, school background, or job.
- They depend heavily on relatives for economic
and emotional support, advice on purchases, and
assistance in times of trouble.

Lower Class - Upper Lowers (9%)
- The working poor. Although their living standard
is just above poverty, they strive toward a higher
class.
- They often lack education and are poorly paid
for unskilled work.

Lower Class - Lower Lowers (7%)
- Visibly poor, often poorly educated unskilled
laborers.
- They are often out of work, and some depend on
public assistance.
- They tend to live a day-to-day existence.

- Là yếu tố ảnh hưởng rất lớn tới tiêu dùng hàng hóa
- Gia đình là trung tâm tiêu dùng hàng hóa
- Vai trò của người chồng, vợ trong gia đình
Thông thường người nào tạo ra thu nhập chủ yếu người đó sẽ đóng vai
trò quyết định trong việc mua sắm, chi tiêu.
• Gia đình định hướng: ông bà, cha mẹ, con cái
• Gia đình hôn phối: vợ, chồng và con cái

Ứng dụng nghiên cứu gia đình trong marke5ng
• Xác định vai trò của các thành viên trong các quyết định mua hàng,
quan tâm khám phá thành viên nào trong gia đình có vai trò quyết
định.
• Xác định nhu cầu, động cơ và lợi ích mong muốn của gia đình trong
từng giai đoạn của chu kỳ đời sống gia đình.
• Triển khai chiến lược markePng thích hợp.

Mỗi cá nhân đều đảm đương một vai trò trong nhóm. Một số có địa vị.
Vai trò và địa vị hướng dẫn hành vi tiêu dùng của mọi người.

• Chỉ dẫn sử dụng và cung cấp sản phẩm phù hợp với vai trò và địa vị
của người Rêu dùng.
• Sử dụng quảng cáo định hướng địa vị thúc đẩy người Rêu dùng mua
sản phẩm.
2.3 PERSONAL FACTORS
Nhà quản trị marke0ng phải khám phá những động cơ đang ảnh
hưởng đến quyết định mua của thị trường mục 0êu.
Triển khai marke0ng –mix thúc đẩy nhu cầu trở thành động cơ để
kích thích mua sản phẩm.

3.3 EVALUATION OF ALTERNATIVES
Alterna6ve evalua6on is the stage of the buyer decision process
in which the consumer uses informa5on to evaluate alterna5ve
brands in the choice set.
The purchase intention may not be the purchase decision due to:
• Attitudes of others: family, friends, …
• Unexpected situational factors: the availability of products,
transaction, payment, after sales service,…
