Complementary: 1. Food flashcards are shown to pupils. Teacher holds up the flashcards and show them
via projector to the pupils. Pupils say the words after teacher.
2. Pupils refer to textbook page 46. Track CD2 02 is played. Pupils point the food in the
textbook and say the words.
Learning Standard:
Main: 3. Pupils refer to the chant and listen to Track CD2 03. Pupils are guided to follow to
chant.
Post-lesson: In groups of 4, pupils practise the chant. Pupils are called randomly to
perform the chant.
OBJECTIVES
Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be
able to name at least 5 foods correctly.

able to narrate a short paragraph with at least 3
sentences correctly.
Complementary: 1. Pupils refer to textbook page 47. Pupils are guided to read the sentences in the speech
bubble.
3. Food flashcards are pasted on the board. Pupils must a simple rectangle in their
exercise books as their lunch box. Pupils draw what they have got and haven’t got in
their lunch box based on a strip given to them by the teacher.

Post-lesson: Pupils share their lunch box detail with the class.
OBJECTIVES

able to use at 3 visuals of food to complete their
lunch box correctly.
