LESSON PLAN INDUSTRIAL ARTS— ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE 9

(FIRST DAY)

Content Standard: The learner demonstrates an understanding of the basic concepts and underlying
theories of electrical installation and maintenance.
Performance Standard: The learner independently demonstrates common competencies in electrical
installation and maintenance as maintenance as prescribed by TESDA Training Regulations.

Learning Competencies: TLE_PECS9-Ik-1 Recognize Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies and Skills

(PECS) needed in electrical installation and maintenance.

I. Objective
Learners are expected to understand the underlying principles and concepts of PECS more
particularly in;
-identifying areas for improvement, development and growth

II. Content

A. Topic: PECs(Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies)

III. Procedure

A. Preliminary Activities

a. Prayer
b. Greetings
c. Checking of attendance

B. Motivation
The student will watch the video clip which is related to the PECs

IV. Presentation

A. Activity
Instruction: Present a short role playing that show how to become a successful business man or an
electrical man.

B. Analysis
Discuss about how to become a good entrepreneur that appreciating and understanding the PECS .
(Base on the video clip)

Guide question:

1. Base on the video, how to become a good entrepreneur?

C. Abstraction
 Base on the discussion about the importance of the PECS, what is your opinion why is it so
important to discuss in this subject?
 Why it is so important as an entrepreneur to possess all the competencies in the PECs?
 D. Aplication
Instruction: Present a short role playing that show how to become a successful business man or an
electrical man base on the PECS.

V. Evaluation
Instruction: Enumerate all the competencies in the PECS and how is it important to a
entrepreneur.

VI. Assignment
Instruction: Write the importance of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in one half size of paper

Remarks: The whole lessons are not yet finish. It will be continue on the next meeting. The reason for the
interruption of the lesson is the short period of time because student didn’t know where class they are belong.
