Тема: Знання – це сила.

Підтема: Канада – англомовна країна.

Мета: Активізувати в мовленні учнів лексичні одиниці

теми.
Практикувати в аудіюванні тексту з метою повного
розуміння всієї інформації, що міститься в ньому.
Розвивати мовну здогадку та уяву.

Обладнання: Карта Канади, магнітофон, касета із записом

тексту про Канаду, альбоми та фотографії з
видами Канади.

ХІД УРОКУ
І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

T. Today we shall speak about Canada. As you know, it is an

English speaking country. At the lesson you will learn a lot of
new interesting information about this country. I hope you’ll
like it.

2. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

T. Let us begin our lesson with the exercise “What do they have
in common?”
What do Olesia’s eyes, your shirt, the sky, jeans have in
common? Right! They are blue! So, let’s begin.
Things that you can eat…(apple, cake, breakfast, bread…)
Things that are green…(cucumber, trees, spring, grass…)
Things that come in pairs…(socks, feet, eyes, boots…)
Things that make people happy…
Things that you associate with power…
Things that you associate with knowledge…

1. Етап підготовки до аудіювання.

Today we shall speak about Canada. Here you can see the map.
Who can show Canada on the map?

Учні показують Канаду, її столицю, розказують, на якому

континенті вона розміщена.

T. Now open your books at page 36. Here is a quiz “What do

you know about Canada.” Choose the correct answers. Be
careful, there may be more than one correct answer.

Учні виконують завдання вікторини і один за одним

читають їх вголос. Їх правильність обговорюється спільно.

T. We are going to listen to the text now, but first let us look at
the words you need to know how to pronounce.

2.Aудіювання тексту.

T. Listen to the text. Be very attentive. You will have to be

ready to fulfill a task after having listened to it.

Учні слухають текст вправи підручника про Канаду (вправа

7 б), ст.36.

3. Контроль розуміння тексту та виконання

післятекстового завдання.

T. Have you understood everything? Now your task is to fill in

Учні заповнюють таблицю у своїх зошитах, тоді як один з

них виконує це завдання на дошці. Інформація на дошці та у
зошитах звіряється і, якщо потрібно, виправляється.

2. Представлення учнями додаткової інформації про

Канаду.

T. Your task for today was to prepare the information about

Canada. You are welcome! Who will tell us about the capital of
the country?

Учні один за одним розповідають про столицю Канади, її

найбільші міста, природу, визначні місця, культуру, спорт,
канадських українців, демонструючи при цьому фотографії
та альбоми з видами Канади.

ІІІ. Заключна частина уроку.

1. Домашнє завдання.

T. Write a short report of all the information you have learnt at

the lesson.

2. Підбиття підсумків уроку.

T. What was our lesson about? What new things did you learn at
