QUARTER 1 – WEEK 1
PATNUBAY NG MAG-AARAL SA PAGGAMIT NG MODYUL
Ang mga Modyul na iyong natanggap ay nilikha upang makatulong sa iyo at iba pang mag-aaral sa pagpapatuloy ng inyong pag-aaral sa tahanan. Bago
mo simulan ang pagtuklas ng mga bagong aralin sa iyong mga modyul, kailangang ihanda mo muna ang sarili. Siguruhing ikaw ay nakapagehersisyo na
at nakakain na sa tamang oras bago simulan ang iyong mga aralin (maaaring sa umaga matapos ang almusal o hapon matapos ang pananghalian).
Isaisantabi muna ang iba pang pinagkakaabalahan. Ihanda ang mga kagamitang pampaaralan tulad ng kwaderno, panulat, krayola at iba pa, at
siguruhing mabibigyan mo ng pokus ang pag-aaral gamit ang mga modyul na iyong natanggap.

nakalimutan.
Sikaping maisagawa ang lahat ng pagsasanay na makikita sa modyul. Ang mga ito ang makatutulong sa iyo upang
3 lubusang maunawaan ang iyong aralin at malinang ang mga kasanayan sa pagkatuto.
Kung hindi mo gaanong naunawaan ang iyong aralin at ikaw ay may mga katanungan tungkol sa iyong mga gawain

at pagsasanay, kumunsulta ka sa iyong magulang, kapatid o sino mang kasama sa tahanan na magsisilbing
4 tagapagdaloy ng aralin.
Para sa mga karagdagang kaalaman o katanungan na may kinalaman sa iyong aralin, sumangguni sa iyong guro at
5 tawagan siya sa numero na makikita sa iyong natanggap na Learning Package.
Huwag kalilimutan na isumite sa paaralan (sa pamamagitan ng iyong magulang o kapatid o sino mang
6 nakatatandang kamag-anak) tuwing Lunes ang mga natapos na Modyul noong nakaraang lingo.
Matapos ang pagsusuri at pagwawasto ng guro sa isinumite mong Modyul, pag-aralan mo ang kabuuang marka
o iskor na makukuha mo batay sa pagbabalitang gagawin sa iyo ng iyong guro. Ang iskor o markang ito ang iyong

tagapagdaloy ng aralin sa tahanan.

mataas na bundok na iyon ,”wika pa ni Maya. Gusto ng matawa ni Agila sa katuwaan
dahil tiyak niya na ang kanyang panalo, subalit hindi siya nagpahalata .
At sinimulan na nila ang paligsahan . Habang nasa kalagitnaan na sila ng
himpapawid siya namang pagbuhos ng malakas na ulan . Nabasa ang bulak na dala –
dala ni Agila kaya bumigat ito nang husto.Nahirapan si Agila kaya bumagal ang lipad
niya . Samantalang ang mabigat na asin na dala ni maya ay nabasa din ng ulan kaya
natunaw ito. Napabilis ang lipad ni Maya dahilan sa pangyayari, unang nakarating si
Maya sa ituktok ng mataas na bundok at tinalo niya ang mayabang na Agila.

PANUTO : Pakinggang mabuti ang pabula . Sagutin ang mga tanong batay dito.
Maninirahan na sa ibang bayan ang isang magsasaka kaya inipon niya ang
kanyang mga gamit at inilulan sa kanyang alagang kabayo at kalabaw .
Sinimulan nila ang mahabang paglalakbay. Makaraan ang ilang oras ay
nakaramdam ng matinding pagod at panghihina ang kalabaw dahil sa bigat ng
kanyang pasang gamit.
“Kaibigang kabayo , di hamak na mas mabigat ang pasan kong gamit kaysa
sa iyo. Maari bang tulungan mo ako at pasanin mo yung iba.?’ pakiusap ng
kalabaw.
“Aba , yan ang ipinataw sa iyong balikat ng ating amo kaya pagtiisan mo,”
wika ng kabayo na lalo pang binilisan ang paglalakad .” Parang awa mo na
tulungan mo ako . Di ko na kakayanin ang bigat ng dala ko . Nanghihina na ako .
Alam mo namang kailangan kong magpalamig sa ilog kapag ganito katindi ang
init ng araw dahil madaling mag-init ang katawan ko”, pakiusap pa rin ng
kalabaw.“Bahala ka sa buhay mo !’,naiinis na sagot ng kabayo.

OBJECTIVE: Analyze sound devices (onomatopoeia, alliteration, assonance, consonance

Sound devices are literary elements used in prose and poetry to stress certain
sounds and create musical effects.
Examples of Sound devices.
1. Onomatopoeia
The formation of a word by imitation of a sound made by or associated
with its referent. A word represents a sound. It can also be described as the use of a
`word which imitates a sound.
Example: banging of door, rustling of leaves, chirping of birds, barking of
of dogs, hissing of snakes, roaring of thunders, cackling of hens
2. Alliteration
The occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning or closely
connected words. The repetition of the consonant sounds at the beginning of the words.
Examples:
I saw a bee busy among the sweet bilberries. (It starts with consonant sounds B)
We lurk late in a little lake. (It starts with consonant sound L)
Nathalie nibbled noodles. ( Consonant sound N)
Sam sipped a strawberry slurpee. (Consonant sound S)
3. Assonance
Rhyme in which the same vowel sounds are used with different consonants.
Or repetition of vowel sounds at the beginning, middle or end of at least two words in a
line of poetry.
Examples:
“ Hear the mellow wedding bells” (vowel sounds of letter E)
“ Fleet feet sweep by sleeping geese” (vowel sounds of double ee)
How now brown cow. (vowel sounds of /ou/ spell as ow)
Twice the high night. (vowel sounds of long i)

4. Consonance
Rhyme involving the use of the repetition of the consonants, when consonants
repeat in the middle or end of words. The consonant is repeated not the letter.
Examples:
“He struck a streak of bad luck”
“ To trust those tables that receive thee more”

“Wish sharp cushion and quash”

Analysis: To solve this problem, we will add two mixed numbers with the fractional parts
having different denominators. We need to follow the following steps:
Step 1: Find the least common denominator (LCD) to make the fraction similar.
(Note: Least Common Denominator is the lowest multiple of the denominators of
a set of fractions).
Step 2: Divide the LCD to the denominator and multiply to the numerator. Then follow the
steps in adding/subtracting similar fractions .

Ngayong nalaman mo na ang tungkol sa mga epekto ng pagbubukas ng
mga daungan sa pandaigdigang kalakalan, maghanda para sa mga
pagsasanay. Kung mayroon kang hindi naiintindihan maaari mong balikan ang

Naging padalos-dalos ka ba sa iyong pagpapasya? o nag-iisip ka muna bago
magpapasya? Nahaharap ka ba minsan sa isang sitwasyon na kailangan mong pumili?
Naitanong mo ba sa sarili mo kung para kanino ka lumalaban? Ano ang gusto mong marating
balang araw? Paano ka makatutulong sa iyong pamilya at kapwa? Hanggang kailan ang
paghihirap mong ito? Sa araling ito, iyong maipapamalas pang-unawa sa kahalagahan ng
pagkakakaroon ng mapanuring pag-iisip (critical thinking), katatagan ng loob (fortitude) at
