Підтема: Заклади харчування. Повторення граматики.

Мета: Повторити й активізувати ЛО теми.
Повторити граматичний матеріал: вживання непрямої мови.
Продовжувати формувати навички аудіювання.
Удосконалювати техніку читання.
Розвивати навички монологічного й діалогічного мовлення.
Розвивати ерудицію учнів.
Обладнання: Підручник, робочий зошит, картки для самостійної роботи (НО1), (НО2), для роботи в парах (НО3),
аудіозапис пісні Кета Стівенса «Father and Son».

І. ПІДГОТОВКА ДО СПРИЙНЯТТЯ ІНШОМОВНОГО МОВЛЕННЯ

Greeting 1. Привітання.
T: Hello, children! I’m very glad to see you!

Aim 2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.
T: Today you’ll practise in converting sentences into reported speech and learn when
to use the Infinitive and Gerund; besides, you’ll listen to the description of some of the
restaurants and remember the useful phrases concerning eating-out experience.
Warming up 3. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.
Учні самостійно виконують завдання на картках (НО1). По закінченні роботи вони
читають трансформовані речення та відповідають на запитання. Вчитель стежить
за правильністю відповідей.
T: Read the quotes about food and transform them into reported speech.

Read the quotes and proverbs about food and answer the questions:
What is the meaning or implication of each proverb/quote?
Which proverbs or quotes do you agree with?
Are there any which you disagree with?

РЗ, Unit 4, впр. 9.
Учні спочатку читають діалоги за ролями, а потім по черзі — репліки діалогів,
трансформовані у непряму мову. Учитель стежить за правильністю будови речень.
Grammar 2. Повторення граматичного матеріалу: вживання непрямої мови.
Practice
1) Впр. 4а (с. 109).
Бесіда з учнями.
T: Look at the examples in the boxes on page 109 and say when we should use the
gerund and when the infinitive after verbs in reported speech.
2) Впр. 4b (с. 109).
Учні, використовуючи інформацію впр. 4а (с. 109), переписують подані репліки
непрямою мовою, а потім по черзі їх читають.
3) Впр. 5а (с. 110).
Учні трансформують текст у діалог і читають його в парах за ролями.
4) Впр. 5b (с. 110).
Учні переписують діалог непрямою мовою. По закінченні роботи один з учнів чи-
тає текст, що в нього вийшов. Решта перевіряють його правильність.
Учитель стежить за правильністю виконання завдань.

Song 3. Вивчення пісні.

Учні слухають пісню й виконують завдання на картках (НО2). По закінченні роботи
вони по черзі передають слова батька непрямою мовою, а потім хором співають піс-
ню. Вчитель стежить за правильністю вимови слів.

Comprehension
1) Етап підготовки до сприйняття тексту на слух.
а) Впр. 1 (с. 111).
Учні в парах обговорюють запитання вправи.
б) Презентація ЛО тексту.

2) Етапи слухання й перевірки розуміння змісту тексту.

Учні слухають текст і позначають «галочками» інформацію, яку почули.
Потім слухають текст удруге й описують свій візит до ресторану за планом, вка-
заним у вправі. Два-три учні по черзі виступають зі своїми описами.
б) Впр. 3а (с. 112).
Учні слухають тексти, що описують заклади громадського харчування, «The Big
Bistro» та «Sala Thai» та підкреслюють правильний варіант відповіді.
в) Впр. 3b (с. 112).
Учні слухають тексти удруге та заповнюють пропуски в записах ресторанного
критика.
Учитель стежить за правильністю виконання завдань.

Speaking 5. Розвиток умінь мовлення.

1) Впр. 4 (с. 113).
Учні в парах читають репліки офіціанта й розподіляють їх за двома групами:
«Before Meal» та «After Meal».
Потім співвідносять їх з відповідними репліками клієнтів, читають та розповіда-
ють діалог за ролями.
2) Складання діалогів у парах.
Учні в парах складають діалог за зразком впр. 4с (с. 113). По закінченні роботи
три-чотири пари по черзі інсценують свої діалоги.
Учитель стежить за правильністю граматичної будови речень та вимови слів.

Role Play 6. Рольова гра.

Учні в парах складають діалоги відповідно до поданої на картках (НО3) ситуації. По
закінченні роботи дві-три пари інсценують свої діалоги. Учитель стежить за пра-
вильністю вимови слів.

НО3:
Make up a dialogue.

Student 1 believes that he/she is too
young to care about healthy eating; he/
she prefers junk food like chips and
Cola; he/she thinks that first of all food
should be tasty, and healthy food is not.
