І. ПІДГОТОВКА ДО СПРИЙНЯТТЯ ІНШОМОВНОГО МОВЛЕННЯ

Aim 2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

T: Today we’ll again listen and speak about the art of painting; and we’ll also discuss
the topic «Theatre».

Warming up 3. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

1) Повторення пісні Дона Макліна «Vincent».
Клас хором співає пісню.
2) Аудіювання й обговорення.
Учитель роздає картки (НО1) і читає текст. Учні уважно слухають і виконують
завдання на картках. По закінченні роботи вони ланцюжком читають доповнені
речення та обговорюють запитання вчителя. Учитель стежить за правильністю
вимови слів.

This story is about two friends, Joe and Bill, who were fond of modern art very
much.
After his girlfriend left him, Joe asked Bill, to fix him up with a blind date. Bill
obliged. The next day Joe called up Bill and shouted at him angrily: «Bill, what kind
of a guy do you think I am? That girl you fixed me up with was cross-eyed; she was
almost bald; her nose was long, thin and crooked; she had hair growing on her face;
she was flat-chested; and her ankles were as thick as her thighs».
Bill answered: «Either you like Picasso, or you don’t like Picasso».

Учні по черзі, використовуючи слова на с. 178, коротко описують своє враження
від зображень картин, поданих у вправі.
б) Впр. 5b (с. 178).
Учні в парах обговорюють запитання вправи.
Учитель стежить за правильністю виконання завдань.
2) Етап слухання й перевірки розуміння змісту тексту.
а) Впр. 6а, b, с (с. 179).
Учні слухають текст і співвідносять твердження (1—6) із зображеннями (А—F).
Потім ланцюжком відповідають на поставлене у завданні запитання.
б) Обговорення. Впр. 7 (с. 179).
Учні в групах по троє-четверо обговорюють запитання вправи. Учитель стежить
за правильністю граматичної будови речень.

Homework
1) РЗ, Unit 6, впр. 9.
На кожне запитання свої відповіді читають по три-чотири учні.
2) РЗ, Unit 6, впр. 10.
Учні повідомляють, назви яких фільмів вони записали поряд із кожним прикмет-
ником. Потім по черзі читають речення, що характеризують їхнє ставлення до
згаданих фільмів.
Учитель контролює правильність виконання завдань.

Із поданих слів учні складають запитання про ставлення співрозмовника до кіно й
театру та обговорюють їх у парах. Потім складають короткі усні повідомлення про
кінематографічні й театральні уподобання сусіда та по черзі з ними виступають.

Учні в парах складають та по черзі інсценують діалоги за поданим зразком.

Учні по черзі читають твердження та змінюють їх на заперечення.

Учні в парах переглядають оголошення та, використовуючи твердження й запе-
речення впр. 3а (с. 181), розповідають про те, які постановки вони хотіли би по-
бачити й чому.

Speaking 4. Розвиток умінь мовлення.

Учні в групах по троє-четверо розглядають репродукції картин і визначають жанр
кожної з них. Потім, використовуючи мовленнєвий матеріал, представлений на
с. 185, обговорюють емоції, які викликають ці картини.
2) Впр. 5 (с. 185).
Учні обговорюють подані твердження в групах по троє-четверо.
Учитель контролює правильність граматичної й логічної будови речень.

Reading 5. Подання тексту для читання.

Учні самостійно читають текст на картках (НО3), добираючи заголовки до його аб-
заців. Свої відповіді вони записують на окремому аркуші, які по закінченні роботи
вчитель збирає на перевірку.

«Quantum of Solace» continues the high-octane adventures of James Bond from
«Casino Royale». Picking up literally days where the previous film left off, after
being betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his
latest mission personal. Having captured Mr White, and in pursuing his
determination to uncover the truth, Bond and «M» interrogate Mr White who
reveals the organization which blackmailed Vesper to steal Bond’s casino winnings.
5)
Maria Raj makes her big screen debut in «Crazy», the touching story of a girl
who wants to be a truck driver. Few comedy moments in this realistic film tell
about the problems of growing up in a small town in America. Wonderful rap
and rock soundtrack which includes «Get Me Out of Here» by Exchequer.
This movie/cartoon is the best choice for someone who
A. has started a photography course and is very interested in nature and
environmental issues.
B. is fond of Bond series and for whom Ian Fleming is a favourite writer.
C. likes detective stories.
D. is interested in watching cartoons.
E. doesn’t like romantic films very much but loves rap.
F. enjoys action films, but not movies about politics or spies.
G. is fond of horror films.
H. wants to see something romantic.
