Practice
1) Впр. 5 (с. 168).
а) Робота в парах.
Учні співвідносять нові слова, подані на с. 168, із їхніми визначеннями. Потім
у парах ставлять один одному запитання за цими визначеннями, наприклад:
P1: What word means «important, meaningful»?
P2: It’s significant. What word means… .
б) Командна гра.
Учні закривають підручники та працюють у командах по четверо-п’ятеро. Вчи-
тель читає одне з визначень впр. 5 (с. 168), а учні повинні здогадатися, про яке
слово чи словосполучення йдеться. За швидку правильну відповідь надається
1 бал. Виграє команда, що отримає найбільшу кількість балів.
2) Впр. 6 (с. 169).
Учні обговорюють подані запитання у групах по троє-четверо.
3) РЗ, Unit 6, впр. 3.
Учні самостійно розташовують букви у правильній послідовності, щоб вийшли сло-
ва, й заповнюють ними пропуски в реченнях, а потім по черзі читають речення.
4) РЗ, Unit 6, впр. 6.
Учні по черзі знаходять зайве слово й пояснюють свій вибір.
5) РЗ, Unit 6, впр. 7.
Учні самостійно читають текст, заповнюють пропуски словами з рамки, потім по
черзі відповідають на запитання: Why is the Mona Lisa smiling?
Учитель стежить за правильністю виконання завдань.
